Landscape Photographer

I’m a landscape and nature photographer based in Dorset on the South Coast of England.

I took up photography in early 2021, during a lockdown, as a way to get out the house. However it quickly went from a hobby to a passion and profession, which plays such a big part of my life, and something I couldn’t imagine living without.

No matter the time, however unearthly it may be, I’ll be chasing that shot, whether it be along our stunning coastline, deep in the countryside, or in the New Forest, because when I capture that moment, it’s a feeling that’s hard to beat.

Having moved to Dorset at a young age, I’ve always been aware that it’s a great place to live. However, I was guilty of taking it for granted, as I realised upon taking up landscape photography. Photography has made me realise how much Dorset has to offer, as I find myself surrounded by the most incredible coastline, landscapes and scenery. It’s fair to say that landscape photography, has truly made me completely fall in love with the county, and its surrounding areas.

I like to share my captures with as many people as possible, and I do this predominantly through social media, notably Facebook and Instagram, where I post my latest photos, behind the scenes videos, as well as interacting with followers.

Another way in which I like to share my work, is via printing my work, as I believe the perfect conclusion to a photograph’s journey, is it being brought to life as a fine art print. These, and other products are available via my online shop, but also at events whereby I can showcase my work, whether it be exhibiting, or selling. This way, I’m able to meet people that follow my journey, as well as anyone that takes an interest in my photographs. I’m always happy to talk about my work, whether it be telling the story behind the shot, or explaining where it was taken.

I’m also fortunate enough to have my photographs shared around social media, but also to have had them published in local newspapers and magazines, as well as; “The Times”, “The Mail”, “BBC”, “ITV”, and a variety of other newspapers and media organisations.
